I've just downloaded Restricting Taxi numbers myth& reality (by the way who's reality are you quoting) and nobody's owned up to being the author(s) tut tut. |

Perhaps it was written by more than one person, maybe the author(s) wish members to debate the issues in the paper, not the names of those on the front of it. No-doubt when you have read the paper, the author(s) will be more than pleased to debate the pro's and con's of it.

The 'author' is Taxi Driver Online, ie it represents the views of the site, like a leader in a newspaper represents the views of the newspaper, but authorship is not attributed. In the context of Myth and Reality, restricted numbers and the OFT process, by the same token you may be aware that the authors of documents from the T&G and NTTG et al were not named. But M&R contained website and email addresses, thus meaning that any feedback or queries could be emailed to TDO or posted on here. And you get an instant response. Almost 
How's that for openness? By the way, you forgot to leave your name on your post

the authour was Dusty Bin from a Bournmouth council tip. get the background papers from oft and well there you will be I got a copy there was a name on the cover from a political party but you would have to kill me to even get a sniff. |
