As you maybe aware, Carlisle followed the Tendring example and decided to ballot HC proprietors in respect of a survey of demand.

Out of 213 ballot papers sent, there were a staggering 121 replies.

73 proprietors were in favour of a survey.

47 proprietors were in favour of a survey and paying for it through increased fees.

33 proprietors were in favour of a survey even in the council stated they wouldnt change policy whatever the survey stated.

There we have it, true democracy in action. :shock:
