This has been hanging over the trade now dor many years is it really an issue as the expense of putting one on the road is surely pushing most drivers towards unrestricted councils

It was a rushed piece of legislation, that MPs passed in the night, and I will be amazed if it ever comes into fruition.

I think restrictions will go, and then that section wont apply.

And in any new act I think it will be 100% WAV, or no % of WAV i.e. drivers choice.

Not that many, which is why I suspect many more councils will go 100% WAV.

Or will go down the deregulation path to avoid the issue

its quite simple really

the number of hack plates should be a direct % of the number of names on the electoral register for any given LA

1 per 100 or 1 per 1000, thats the only question
