I assume that the tax man will also be very happy.

after he has took out the feul, taxi expenses an ware an tear he is only left with about 10-15k a year but come on he has 5hackneys so if his getting 15k each hackney his making about 75k a year sitting at home.

I was thinking about the taxman and you. I am guessing but there may be some capital gains tax to pay on the £80K you received from the sale and income tax on the £650 per week you are now earning.

I would suggest you put the cash somewhere safe and tell everyone on here you have paid capital gains.

At times you have to lie a little.

dont worry about the money sussex it wont i have already invested it some were, an the 650 i earn a week is not always 650 as uno the taxi trade 1st week made 1316 2nd 1354 an this week since monday 826 including today i proberaly will make another 200 by the time i finish my shift at 4am so that will be about 1026 an my 50% will be 513 so i cant guarante i will make 650 every week, the taxman knows i make 400 a week now as i have changed it due to me not being self employed any more.

no i pay my tax but before when i was self-employed i used to drive mornings an a driver at night, my school contract used to giv me 400 a week an i used to make about 250 drivin taxi an my driver gave me about 400 a week so then i used to pay about 6000 tax a year but now my wage is written down as 400 a week as in the taxi trade some weeks i could make 1500 a week an some i could make 500 so me as a driver i only get 50% of what i earn an no my boss dosent pay me holidays as if i dont work i wont get anythink.
