Hi

I am a taxi proprietor in St Austell (Restormal borough council). On the 5/11/10 the licensing committee are meeting to decide the fate of the current restrictions placed on taxi limits in our borough.

So what happened? :?

Only 10 of the 12 licensing committee turned up. They voted 9 to 1 in favour of keeping the current limits in the limited zones. :-)

Just got the equalities act to deal with now:-(

Also a very big thankyou to everyone that was kind enough to offer advise.

As for the poor reply (13% of the trade). This consultation went out to both private hire and the hackney trade. There are many more ph drivers/owners than hc. The ph trade didn't respond. Having said that the response from the hc trade in certain zones was also very pathetic.
