well it must be because look at the size of aylesbury an then liverpool big difference, a friend told me to do private hire as there is good work but I don't like the private hire trade I preferre the hackney even thou I have to buy a liverpool hackney plate,
But now down here aylesbury the trade is going slow as there are too many private hire so not enough work to go around,

By you have a handful of licensed taxis, they have over 1500.

However if you want to buy a Liverpool plate I suspect there will be many willing to sell.

I think I read somewhere that there were quite a few private hire vehicles in Liverpool.

I dont think there that much.......however, you'd have to pass a street knowledge test.

It's as busy as anywhere at the moment. I haven't seen any advertising forsale on the vehicles but I have noticed a few collars for rent

I've been researching liverpool hackneys for quite a wile an on the 2007 plate value database I found out that the value is 50k
If its worth me buying one I will but its quite a gamble as I don't no the area wwell, history of the trade or the average takings.

When you've passed your knowledge test for Liverpool why not rent until you're sure that's what you want to do

Good luck when you're there and don't forget not to rip the people of the Wirral off when they ask you to go through the tunnel it's only 2 miles long
