The Liverpool survey undertaken by Jacobs consulting is up on the their website if anyone is interested, the committee is Thursday. It shows massive unmet demand at the pier head. http://councillors.liverpool.gov.uk/mgC ... =2452&T=10 Kingston upon Hull voted to undertake a survey at their licensing committee meeting today. The survey was proposed by one of the Lady Lib Dem Councillors. That means at least another four months for you Hull boys, before a verdict is announced. Regards JD |

damn! Captain cab Probably 33/1. I think it is the first ever Taxi unmet demand survey they have ever done. However they did do that simplistic report addressing the OFT report early 2004. Regards JD |

Did notice this from the survey results though, dont know if its a sad state of affairs for the taxi trade or a matter for the law enforcers though! Bolton Street, Vandalism to equipment during survey Broad lane, vandalism to equipment Charlotte St, break in tape Dawson street, fault with video Lime Street Station, told to leave site by network rail Captain cab |

http://councillors.liverpool.gov.uk/mgC ... =2452&T=10 Without doubt the most iffy SUD survey that I have ever seen.
Aren't surveys meant to give proper data, as opposed to the maybe's in this one? Aren't they meant to do detailed rank observations, as opposed to the less than a weeks worth of tape? Still at least Jacobs have kept to the same standard as the pile of poo they did for the NTWA or whatever their name is now. Oh and the mush with £3,000,000 worth of plates must be a little bit happy. For the time being at least.
