This article from TaxiTalk is a few years old but at the time Tony Spreg was asking "have Liiverpool Council deregulated". http://www.taxitalk.co.uk/pages/issue63 ... uncil_.htm His concern was the abundance of vehicles from surrounding authorities such as Sefton, knowlsey etc, that illegally plied for hire in Liverpool to the detriment of the Liverpool Hackney carriage Trade. I wonder if anything has changed? Regards JD |
