Seems many PH drivers are in favour of issuing 5 plates a month.

And why wouldn't they be, I'm in favour of nicking their money and tv's but it's not going to happen is it.

Now ask the same drivers if they don't object to losing part of their garden so we can build some social housing so ppl who haven't got a job can live their for free.

Now ask them if they'd like a bookie who gives losing stakes back everytime, answer would be yes, win win situation.

Now ask them if they'd like the state to pay for a car for them as well.

Now ask them if they'd like free fuel

You know the answers already, and the poll doesn't reflect anything more than asking a kid if it wants a lollypop does it, FFS!!! ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Give them the free for all......and watch TDO report in 6 months time how they all want to relimit numbers.

The Licensing Committee voted unanimously to delimit over time.

Down to the full council now.

I would say BROWN ENVELOPES and HIDDEN AGENDAS myself,

Wouldn't take a lot of dick work to flush the bad eggs out, simply checking their facebook friends should be enough.

That's sixty new cabs for the next twelve months. They're thinking demand will stop at some point. Maybe if you get a plate in the third year it will be bad.

Must be some other issue here, after all they all think that this time, the lifting of numerical numbers, higher quality, lower fares, etc etc will be the end benefit.

I havent read any letters from any trade organistation local or national in the council documents, I can only presume they aint organised, but they do protest well.

Ultimately it's down to the council, everyone knows the risks ultimately it's caveat emptor, buyer beware sadly.

Maybe, just maybe, the Law Commission might recommend taking the powers to restrict away from councils.

Then we wont see any more of this nonsense.

You hope, but then again as you have motive for wanting that it's no surprise is it, we'll see next month won't we, and if it goes pete tong in the future which it will because you have no idea about what you suggest then you can thank yourself for 9 years of dedicated campaigning to ruin a trade that ran fine for a very long time until your type arrived, you won't see it but you are a part of what is ruining this country, ppl with your outlook are systematically destroying it and reducing it to a free for all, no vision mate, no vision, only see whats in front of you nose and possibly a benefit to you.
