In December's Taxi'talk' The Reiver asks an interesting question. :shock:

He says 'Apparently, in Edinburgh one company applied for three licenses, why a company would want three licenses, as opposed to one, is a mystery to me. :-k

If I was him I would ask multi-plate owners like Mr T. Or far nearer to home Captain Cab. :lol:

Let's hope The Reiver can solve that mystery in time for January's edition. :roll:

Oh, there is one further thing in December's Taxi'talk'.

In an article the designers of their website are going to 'discuss the functionality that can be included in a website' in the next edition.

Oh, I can't wait. :lol: :lol:

Must be getting low on material? I know they have been scraping the bottom of the Barrel for the last two years but when you look at their line up thats hardly surprising lol

They could do with a few new strikers and I must admit their defence needs a complete face lift. The team has a habit of letting in too many own goals and perhaps the whole lot should be put on the transfer list. I suspect they might be heading for the second division pretty soon with all these councils following their advice and lifting numbers. lol It was them that said councils know best wasn't it?

I wonder if they were refering to Georgie Best?

Meanwhile, back in the real world....

But of course what you forget Sussex is that the Captain's Reiver persona is merely intended to be (according to the magazine's management), a 'wind-up merchant par excellence'. :D

Just had a read of the full article - I'm surprised you didn't pick a more 'interesting' example Sussex, I mean, there's plenty to choose from :lol:

One of the best is when he says:

In other words, or as the legend Derek Cummins alludes, it's self-interest, pure and simple.

Mr Casey is very fond of quoting famous historical figures under his various guises, so I remind him of the Adam Smith quote, which sums things up quite nicely, but neatly demonstrates why Mr Casey's type should be resisted, not kow-towed to:
