Wakefield are issuing 39 new licenses. 21 in the Wakefield zone and 18 split amongst some of the other zones. The TPI survey recommended one plate in ponte and one in Castleford. It would seem the committee has considered the survey report but has departed from its findings significantly. Regards JD |

Maybe the council took note of the corrupt TPI survey in Plymouth and treated them with the contempt they deserve. |

The survey was completed in 2005 but a decision on the matter was repeatedly put off for some reason. I think the general feeling among councillors was that they wanted more cabs and it seems thats exactly what they got. Regards JD |
