Putting aside which way we wish the OFT study to go, what are we going to do when it is either implemented or rejected?

What will we talk about? :? What will we moan about? :?

Will it be the end of HC/PH forums? :(

We will be discussing Tand G, Watford Peterbourogh and Todmorden stations, airport carz at manchester airport, and the progress of taxibus

we can gaurantee Nige will bring us stories to debate, and Stewart will hopefully be banned as a director by then so that will keep us going.

Personally i hope enlightened councils will at least look at the situation in regard to plate issue.
No growth = no defense in my opinion
Ph continue to grow
While hacks get pushed further and further into the city center
Graham Stringers comment about hacks not serving outer areas sets alarm bells ringing in my head as a hackney driver in Manchester.

I felt the reference to compitition in fares will le taken up by many councils across the country
Vehicle type also will hopefully be adressed
As to the main ?
Why this is mystifies me? part of the report
Delimitation
This will be sent back to "local" councils to sit on for another ten years nothing will happen in this regard.

You managed quite well on the past lists talking on subjects you were woefully ignorant of.

I will talk wisdom and keep putting you in your place and tell you how proper taxi drivers go about thier business.

Claude, several years ago we had a very high profile member of our Cab committee "prosecuted for plying for hire" in another district. It just proves that even the most noble can succumb to temptation.

Best wishes.

John Davies.
Manchester.
