Its not difficult SM.

The OFT are standing by what they said and so are the Select Committee.

children in the playground

if the oft respond again, will it be a response to a response to the response of a response?

the oft report was shot into pieces because it forgot the trade is different in different areas.

the tdo myth and reality piece, compiled at a fraction of the £250k the oft report cost (he he), was far more relevent to the trade we know

I don't think they will, to me they seem very confident in the outcome.

I couldn't agree more, but I fear it will not be considered.

The minister may never respond to the OFT report, apparently he has no duty to, unless he intends the findings to form some legislationary change. The earliest he will report now, if ever, will be the end of this month.

I think that the OFT are confident in standing by their findings, however as more and more better written papers are produced the government will have to consider whether the OFT investigation would be used to form government reccomendations to local authorities as it doesn't seem it would be possible to base any legislationary changes on the findings of the OFT.

I think that people looking for saviours should got to church, instead of Beachy Head.

Not as confident as you are in wrecking the H/C trade though Sussex.

An interesting comment.

I want all licensed drivers to have the same opportunities, and that means wrecking the HC trade. :?

2old for this, the answer is not.

amazing quip from mick there that the minister does not have to respond!

Ministers Mick dont have to do anything pal, it amuses me when they say they have this and that responsibility, they dont, all responsibilities are vested in permanent secretaries.

the only responsibility they have is speaking for thier department in the commons, and then they are given the speach.
