From today's Yorkshire Post.
A Senior Taxi Licensing boss in Leeds has been suspended while an investigation takes place, Leeds City Council said last night.
No official reason has been given for the suspention of Des Broster head of the authorities taxi licensing section who is the subject of an internal investigation.
Last night a leeds City Council spokeswoman said "A member of staff has been suspended while an investigation takes place. It would be inappropriate for us to comment further while the investigation is under way".
Mr Brosters department has come under fire recentl over plans to introduce lower age limits for cars, which some cabbies said were unnecessary.

Going to need the full facts on that one before I can comment, what's been said already doesn't really say what he's supposed to have done yet.

Keep it updated as you get more info.
