Yeah I know the original post is 2 years old :lol:

We have just started this years School runs and one of them is a 7 year old girl who is unaccompanied. Once again some of the drivers were muttering :roll:

So I phoned Hampshire council and ask what was going on. Their reply was "Any child under 5 or with special needs gets an escort.......Over 5 and "normal" it's ok to let them go alone." :shock:

We decided to let the drivers choose if they don't want to do the job there are plenty that will

Since kids of 5 and up can now get Sex Education lessons the more devious amongst them now realise what a mighty sword they can weild.

Such a contrast to 40 years ago when most of us thought it was just for P*ssing over a high wall with.

Would we not be better trying to reassure children that britain isnt such a dangerous place rather than give them the impression that the whole world is scary and wants to put the willies up them :roll:

Echo, I'am sure the parent has asked you personally because you are trustworthy and she knows you. I would take the child and I'am sure an eight year old can put on a safety belt.
I would sort out the payment aspect first, if both parties agree then ok. By the way are you HC or have you got your own PH ops License? If no to both I would have to say thanks but no thanks.

I picked up 6 from a junior school, 1 lad/5 girls

they scared me......

its not funny, kids do that to me

my regular 2 had a conversation about which Predator and/or Alien film is best, one is only 12............
