Oh yes, and the firm looks well iffy as they can't even register the site's address.

Be interested to find out where their office is. :-k

If they only use hackneys then maybe they could be legal, but in their terms and conditions it mentions an extra charge if customers mess up the private hire vehicle.

The first question I would like to be answered is are they part of National Express? :?

Me too, I think we'll have to make enquiries

It advertises Executive cars and at the bottom it says (Taxi - Private Hire - Executive Car hire - Minibus Hire - MPV Hire)

What Is an executive car? are they PH or Taxis with leather seats? what exactly constitutes an Executive car and how are they licenced?

If you type www.click-a-cab.co.uk you will get to their home page. you can fill in a form to be an agent and it also gives the office address.

Has anyone enquired as yet? I reckon it looks ok, and if they can do as they say, increase your calls/ business, then should it be worth joining?

Executive cars are licensed the same as private hire (or should be) however in some areas it is possible to get an exemption from displaying the outside plates.

They may well be able to increase your work load, but the issue is whether they are operating within the 1976 act, and on that I have my doubts.

It's a crap site anyway.

I tried to get a quote for Friday 26th February 2010, from The Manor Hotel at Meriden, on a wait & return to Shirley in Solihull at a pick-up time of 21.00hrs & the site couldn't do the quote.

They appear to only do the major cities & towns on longer mileage work.

Anyone fancy giving me a price on that job; it's genuine & I can't do it 'cause I'll be well p*ssed by then.

FFS. I think I'll hire a donkey instead.

Mind you my 89 year-old Mum won't be very comfortable riding a donkey.
