Taxi operator's licence applicant, booted out of City Cabs for having the gall to apply, tells Keir that he has been rendered unemployed as a result and he needs his licence to work.
"We're not here to discuss your employment status" says Keir. Licence refused.

Scottish Best Practice Guide warns that a shortage of taxis can encourage the public into unlicensed vehicles. Happens at the West End, girl raped. Keir knows about this does nothing.
Young female visitor gets into unlicensed vehicle and sexually assaulted. Judge Lady Smith says, "What this girl needed was a taxi". Still Keir does nothing.
Keir prefers rapes and assaults to de-restricting taxi numbers. He's now denied over 100 licences. Keir cares nothing for the workers paying high rentals and who just want to be their own men, run their own taxi, provide service to the public.

Keir took away a man's livelihood just before Christmas. Why? The guy had got involved in a minor spat. A report was made to the procurator Fiscal. It was never prosecuted. The new zealous cab inspector made a complaint to the Licensing Committee that he was not a fit and proper person.
Keir cut this man's income for this trivial reason. Some Christmas his kids would have eh? Keir didn't care. he abused his power to be the "big man".
Keir is a real caring individual, eh?
At licence renewal the guy was given his licence back by Keir. So he wasn't really not a fit and proper person was he? This was just the Scottish Nasty Party lording it over the taxi trade. Making an example of this guy.
Keir is a morally and politically corrupt.
BTW included should be rest of the cretins and imbeciles on the committee who not only allow Keir to do all of this, and more, but get their jollies from slapping down workers.
