Thanks Sussex, and yes I do mean drivers .the query is our council will only license drivers over 60 yearly but want to charge for a 3 year badge in year one and then when you apply for years 2/3 there is no charge

I guess they hope you all drop dead before years 2 and 3 so they can keep the money.

See that's where councils get it wrong time and time again, and I think they have been sussed, at last, by the LC.

Other that a CRB, what extra cost is there in processing a one year license compared with a three year license, and for that matter a 100 year license? The plastic and paper costs are the same.

So ask your council that question, and please report back.
