It's not so much that I want it quick, I know from past experience they drag it out.
I will do an FOI just for the drivers licence, any advice on wording would be appreciated.
What they are charging is 4 times neighboring authorities and double or more comparable sized authorities.
a) Please provide a copy of any report submitted by Licensing officers to the Head of Function or any Council body to request authority to implement the most recently revised scale of fees for driver licenses.
b) Please provide a copy of the financial estimates for the operation of the Taxi Licensing function for the issue of driver licenses in last accounting year and the costs the council envisages in the current year.
c) Please provide details of the number of driver licenses issued in the last accounting year and the number the Council envisages issuing in the current year.
d) Please provide details of any ‘best value’ comparison the council has carried out in respect of its licensing functions and how it compares with the authorities it may have used as a ‘benchmark’
E). Please provide a copy of the minutes when the Council passed the resolution to adopt the local government (miscellaneous provisions)act 1976 with regard to Hackney Carriages and Private Hire vehicles
