So "the Big Green Coach company" (who dont own any coaches) set up stall in Brum selling coach tickets to "Bloodstock" on railway property.....

this has stirred some up in emotion some quarters, Licensing say its on private property...so anything goes

If it is for vehicles with 9 or more seats it has nothing to do with the council.

It was the question of street trading with no peddlers licence i think, not anything PH/HC

i bet if a taxi firm had hawkers handing out leaflets before the rock fans got to the bus ticket sellers something would be said

You also don't need to own coaches to sell coach tickets. Just think of how many National Express coach tickets your local travel agent sells. Does HE own any coaches?

I personally dont give a to55 but 1 hack driver was apoplectic, frothing at the mouth, then again the gazeebo outside the station was 50 yds from the rank he was on....

Do National Express own any coaches? I know one of our local operators runs NE liveried coaches under franchise.

Last I heard National Express owned one coach.
