The chap here who sent the form off in May and has still not got it back, spoke to a policeman in town on Saturday. He gave him the direct line number of the chap who deals with DBS at Leics police. He rang him up yesterday morning and was told that Leics police received the form mid July and it was dealt with the same day. However because the chap is new to the area the form had to also be looked at by the police in the area he moved from, Hasting. The officer then chased this up and Sussex police said they had a huge backlog and his form was in the middle. The police officer explained about the job position and Sussex police moved the form to the top of the pile. The Leicestershire chap rang back yesterday afternoon to tell the driver that it had all been completed and sent back to Liverpool. He checked the website yesterday teatime and the certificate is out for printing. Lets hope he gets it by the weekend.

What cobblers

We have a unified NATIONAL police database, it only needs to be completed by ONE office

His DBS arrived at lunchtime today. He went straight down to the Council. He waited 40 minutes to see the licensing officer to show the certificate. He couldn't get his badge though because there was no one available to make it.
