If you have lived or visited any country for longer than 3 months from when you were 13. We need a CRB(DBS) sent to us before we can grant you a badge.

I thought kids don't need CRB done. And where I grew up 13 yo'lds get a real good whooping for being naughty. You don't call police and stick a criminal record on them for breaking a window.

This is all nice and dandy in a country where one get's a birth certificate at birth. But the rest of the world doesn't run like that. So how on earth do you expect the police around the world to run after 13 y'olds, foreign and local, when parents can do it perfectly?

If you gon decline an application. why not just say NO? Is it not "Guilty Until Proven Innocent "

What are you on about FFS, every LA requires a DBS/CRB for EVERY driver applicant

if you have an offence on your record it doesnt matter if you were 6, its still there, how old were the killers of Jamie Bulger, do you think that shouldn't show on their DBS?

(the Bulger killers were both 10 at the time of the offence)

Not quite right. Ours will accept a letter of good conduct from an embassy! But, of course, because I have a lifetime's history in the UK, I have to have a DBS/CRB.
