This decision has been made purely by the DBS so Amber Valley have not paid the fee (what fee?) to use the update service as it would be null and void.

With regards to your enquiry, the requirement of this authority is that it will accept an ‘Enhanced’ DBS only where it is within 3 months of its issued date, otherwise a new application is required to be submitted for a DBS.
