Ah, OK.

So while I am private hire. I may as well just always wear my belt. Cos if there is no punter in the car, I can get points.
Correct, you only have to wear a seatbelt when not carrying a fare. One of the reasons for not wearing one is the passenger may become violent and use it to strangle you or you may need to exit the vehicle quickly if they pull a knife on you etc.

It's only a small risk though. Wear your seatbelt all the time and take it off if the passenger looks dodgy ?

What a stupid place to pull you, forcing you to block a junction as well ! They do enjoy lecturing you on bad driving when half the time theirs is'nt any better. I wouldn't have pulled up so close behind him though !

Once got a long lecture on how dangerous it is to be driving with a blown headlight bulb and that I should go to a garage straight away and replace it. I asked the copper if he was going to follow me and change his as the same bulb on his car was blown as well ! Mine got changed straight away (I carry spares), 3 days later spotted same police car, same driver, same blown bulb !

I was waiting for that one, I wasn't that close, the camera is on 3X zoom so it looks close. If I put it on 5X zoom you would've been able to see the pig shit on the bumper. :D

Maybe you should show the footage to his boss, asking the questions about stopping on the crossing and forcing you to stop on the zigzags.
