I asked who decided if the DBS update service could be used...

Now i see why they dont want to use updates

If we changed to a computerised service the District Council would lose its authorisation to carry out DBS checks.


Take away the repeat checks and they lose status

Yet if every renewal was a 3 year badge they would go under 100 DBS checks per year
