Oh yes you can, where in the Uk is there a rank that long :shock:

I brought up first on the rank with the council, and they said its the punters prerogative what taxi they took, up here its a free for all

Birmingham New Street Station for a start; 167 cab rank (unofficial, soon to be official), with four feeder ranks following each other & every cabbie is expected to work from first turn off every feeder rank.

Are you sure?

I thought it was about the punters refusing to take the first turn cab when Mr Ripov was on point?

The punter has the choice & first turn can't do nowt about it if the punter doesn't want to travel with him / her.
