Oops, forgot to put a link for the letter.

In view of the foregoing, perhaps Mr Aimer is being sarcastic when he says that the panorama from the Law Hill inspired 'A View To A Kill".

But I doubt it. :?

Vehicle checks should be carried out on a weekly basis for driver checkable items, and at every service for specialist inspection. Required work should be carried out there and then, people who don't are messing around with peoples lives in extreme cases, including their own. Anyone not doing this cannot complain if the authority rules them to no longer be fit and proper.

Mr Aimer has had a good run for his money, his vehicles over the past 10-15 years have been commented on,but always managed to past the police test at the second or third attempt.
Not only did he run his vehicles dirty, but the inside was filthy as well.
I for one have no qualms that he has had his license taken away,as he has been warned for years.
My relative in the trade in Dundee, says that all the drivers/operators,commented on the appearance of his vehicles.

Come on now, give the guy a break.

After all, that last saloon he had would have been OK if it had been cleaned occassionaly.

And if he'd splashed out on a set of wheel trims.

And if the car had been 10 years newer.

And as long as you weren't taller than 5'5" or over 10 stone.

No, his last chance SALOON was his little Rover, the car they threw the book at was a purpose built Fairway.
