FFS it's not hard to quote properly, and if you can't do it properly then don't do it. And if someone has ballsed up a quote then don't make it worse by quoting the bad quote.

As I see it then at the moment you don't have a next move. It is his move next. This can be one of 3 possible things. 1, he leaves it at that. 2, he passes his concerns to your LO who may or may not want to do anything. 3, he takes you to court. If it is the latter then you may need to seek the advice of a taxi licensing solicitor, someone who knows about the jurisdiction issues and take it from there.
