Why ask for advice when you are not presenting the facts for everyone to peruse.

A licensing officer can challenge you if you are standing in their licensing district.

Have a look at the Stockton v Fiddler & others case, you will find the Judge concluded that they were plying for hire (Berwick) plated vehicles but the Stockton Officers agreed that as they had been proven correct in their assumption they would accept that the acquittals of the two Berwick drivers stood.
If Council enforcement Officers took notice and responded accordingly to the decisions in this case there would be no out of Borough Taxis standing around in another borough claiming I am working on a private hire circuit of another licensing authority different to mine, they have to be in their own licensing district to accept a hiring, see DPP. V Com Cabs.

My betting this assole is gonna PROPERLY sort you out one way or the other ......................................sleep well
I'm bright enough to know that unions are a waste of space. And a vote for Corbyn an even bigger waste of space. You might not have the guts to question someone on your own. But I do.
no doubt various LO''s have read your correspondence on here and your noted your determination to confirm yer a burke   i expect you to lose yer license :D :D :D good riddance i reckon =D> =D> =D>

Shall we have a vote and ban some people from having the quote function?

FFS it's not hard to quote properly, and if you can't do it properly then don't do it. And if someone has ballsed up a quote then don't make it worse by quoting the bad quote. ](*,)

Ok. I told him that I knew he had no jurisdiction over me,and as such I was under no obligation to tell him anything and he had no right to inspect either myself or my vehicle. He wrote to me a few days later claiming obstruction. I replied saying that it is impossible to obstruct someone that has nothing to do with you. He replied threatening me with court action and saying that I had to attend an interview in Manchester. I replied declining his kind offer and pointing out that the threat was an abuse of power and this whole episode is "ultra vires" and therefore illegal. I also asked where he had got my details from as this was a breach of the data protection act. The second letter I sent ran to four pages so I won't bore you with all the detail.
As I see it then at the moment you don't have a next move. It is his move next. This can be one of 3 possible things. 1, he leaves it at that. 2, he passes his concerns to your LO who may or may not want to do anything. 3, he takes you to court. If it is the latter then you may need to seek the advice of a taxi licensing solicitor, someone who knows about the jurisdiction issues and take it from there. One thing I would not do if it goes that way is represent myself.
I TT suspect he will get nailed and given his demeanor on here REP himself where his severely limited intelligence will ensure his fate
