I Agree that the scum wont , But Vosa get powers to confiscate and crush on PSV's in October .

Also the Genuine Limo trade are suffering again , Those that run a legitamet Fleet that have aplied for there o licences are getting held back by the TC many applications have been sat on Beverly Bells dest for 6 Months . In one breath they complain your not licenced and those that try get held back .

The local TC, who just happens to be the big boss of the TCs, stipulates to any he licenses that they must charge separate fares for 8, or less, seaters. And they must adhere to the correct separate fare guidance issued by VOSA, i.e. total charge for 8 people hiring is say £200, but if a hire only has 4 people, then the price of that hire must be £100.

What percentage of O license 8, or less, seaters do you think adhere to that law? My guess is 0%. :?

If someone books a car for 8 people at £200, then on the night only six people get into the hired motor, then it would be a breach of the Transport Act if the final fare was more than £150.

Happy with that? :?

I can book a coach for a day trip and pay the whole bill myself and it doesn't matter how many people actually go on the coach as long as the number does not exceed the number that the coach can carry. Not seperate fares at all.

Trouble is they usually deal with this by charging the same price, regardless of how many travel.

Who is talking about coaches? :?

I'm talking about PSVs that seat 8 or less, and separate fares are the law. It's not an option. [-X
