 Post subject: Private Hire Sub Office

Hi Is there any legislation about runing a sub office fron a night club, and useing the street as a booking office.

I would be gtatful for help.

Well since the Scottish legislation is completely different then its usefulness would be limited, although some of the case law and other stuff might be useful.

On the other hand, if you have to ask the question then this might indicate that spending £74 on this wouldn't be the best use of your cash.

but i find the Button book almost inposible to find anything in it, i do have the second edition, and look thoought it cant find a thing.

The trouble with law is that if you are to be sure of your ground, you must have the latest edition of any relevant books and keep up to date with case and statute law since the last revision of the book. What do you read to keep your knowledge current?

I am trying to get a what the council say is a marshall that as a radio and taking bookings from the street and they say if lawfull, and it a P/hire firm

and unless i can fined something they may just get away with it.

The mush on the street is 'touting'. The law is crystal clear on that.
