Hi Steve

If it is ok to drive in dundee as a taxi or PH when the license has only been held for one year then the insurance should not be a problem.

PCO in London insist a PH driver must have held a full license to drive a car for at least three years. I know in some area's one year is ok.

I have a mate who drove in London within one month of passing his car test, he had a motorcycle license for 20 years, just never bothered with a car test.

The insurance for PH was fine with that, this was of course before licensing came in.

Regards

Eric

I think the only problem you will have is the price of insurance.

Also readinh PHM today there was an article in re a bird who had passed her test in June but for some reason was not issued her first driving license some months later as a result the LA refussed her a HC license on the grounds she had not held a full diving license for long enough.
:? :? :? :?

That will be high whatever job he does in relation to driving, at least this way he could have the opertunity rather have some company tell him they do not want to pay for it therefore gain no experience and have no job.

Go for it that's what I say.

If you are over 25 years of age,no problem.
Take your time and find a decent operator to drive for.

I bet you'd pay over the odds though, insurance companies love drivers like you, that's why you never see a poor insurance broker.
