Post subject:  John coutie v Dundee city council

With the case going before the high court on 22ND Oct i was interested in your views on what you think will happen .There is a lot of speculation in Dundee on what effect this is going to have on the taxi trade.Below is a copy of the sheriff court judgement.

What does your best practise guidance say?

If it says that councils should be flexible, then I think that's the way the court will go.

In my view best practise is a god send to judges who can't make up their minds. :wink:

It is similar to the Sneddon case......and the LA won that one.
