Post subject:  Why do taxis have to be new?.
Why is it that more and more councils are setting age limits on taxi cabs?.Is it that the new ones are supposed to be 'better' in some way.I'd have thought condition,safety and pollurtion more important than the number plate,is there another reason?.

It's something they call quality control, and I think you're right they ain't got a clue what quality control actually is.
