Post subject:  Out of area advertising

The following has been sent to the LA:

Dear [Licensing Officer],

On our Associations new web site, [www.besttownhca.org] the Forum has brought up a question asking if [nitwit] Cars of [horribleville] are allowed to:-
• Advertise for MiniBus Hire in [besttown]
• Advertise for Courier Work in [besttown]
• Use a web site that implies they are for the people of [besttown], namely www.taxis[besttown].co.uk

Secondly, the Forum mentions that the Click a Cab site, www.[besttown]taxis.co.uk 01999 999996 ([besttown] exchange), is still on the internet.

At a meeting between the Association and yourselves on the 68th January 2124, the minutes stated,

4. Any Other Business

i. [sillybilly] Taxis of [horribleville] - [sillybilly] Taxis had been asked to remove the [besttown] numbers from the website and they had complied. Click a Cab however were not very amenable, but although there is a number on the Click a Cab site it is not live.

It is possible that the site is still not live, however in the event that you find that this site is being operated by a non-[besttown] based company would you please consider taking action.

Given that nitwit cars are PH and sillybilly taxis are HC, all vehicles licensed in horribleville, what is the legal situation? Can besttown take any enforcement action? Can besttown LA ask horribleville LA to take enforcement action?
