After so many have to wait 3 months for a CRB check to come back.........

Quote:
How long will it take to become ISA-registered?

The CRB is working to a standard whereby applicants for ISA-registration will become registered within seven working days. Where applicants have a relevant conviction, caution, warning or reprimand, the CRB will send the information to the ISA who will then take a closer look at the applicant and the appropriateness for them to work with vulnerable groups

Indeed, one payment and that's it for life.

If you're on the list you ok, if you're binned off it you're not.

Simples.

But if its the CRB anyway who are sending the information to ISA...then why isnt our current CRBs good enough in the first place. Seems like a throwback to Nulabs love of creating more Non jobs through the aid of needless Beaurocracy paid for in turn by us all in order to purchase something we dont really need.

I dont disagree that much.......the system is run by our old favourites 'Capita'......who have much prospered under Nulab.
