Well gubber me!!!

These FoI requests really do work.

I think I'll write to Brum Council & ask them how much they spent on cleaning up pigeon sh*t in the last five years.

That document is clear as mud.

It seems they paid general wages (whatever they are?) in 2007/08 for both Hackney and Private Hire, but, they didn't pay any general wages for either for the following 2 years. They did however pay for contractors. Does this mean they have contracted the administration for the licensing out to external providers :?

What is Revenue General? They only appear to have received a total general revenue of £213.44 for all of the 3 years combined. This clearly isn't the revenue from license fees. Where is the revenue from license fees :?

I did profit and loss accounts for years and this just doesn't make any sense to me at all. It appears to me that they have provided the information requested, but, it's provided in such a way as to not make much sense to the reader.

I of course could have lost my ability to understand simple financial reports

Having checked back it appears that Nigel didn't ask how much was received in license fees, can this not be done under FOI?
