I did note, when I saw Mr Rolands list, that it differed from TDO's list on a number of points.

So in the interest of getting it right I contacted those councils to get the true position.

Derby-confirmed to TDO they don't restrict.

Harlow-confirmed to TDO they didn't re-restrict in 2006.

Norwich-confirmed to TDO they don't restrict.

Telford-confirmed to TDO they don't restrict.

Guildford-confirmed to TDO they don't restrict.

Epping Forest-confirmed to TDO they don't restrict.

Oadby & Wigston-confirmed to TDO they don't restrict.

Rugby-licensing committee decided Jan 2010 to remove restrictions from April 2013.

Thanet-decided on 17/5/05 to remove restrictions.

Torfan-cabinet decided to end restrictions 01/07/08.

Wansbeck-now part of Northumberland Council. No longer restrict following committee meeting 05/03/10.

Manchester, Reading and Bracknell restrict.

So in conclusion the TDO list is the true position as of today, which is out of the 88 councils/districts that still restrict;

Green 70% to 100% WAVs = 28 council (32%)

Orange 40% to 70% WAVs = 8 councils (9%)

Red 0% to 40% WAVs = 52 councils (59%)
