does anybody know where i stand if i get a accident replacement vehicle and it is found that my non fault claim becomes knock for knock as the at fault driver refuses to accept liability??? do i have to pay half of the rental for replacement vehicle or does my insurance. also i have 10 cars run for 5 years without any claims. if it is decided that this accident is knock for knock do i lose my accrued no claims bonus for all ten cars or just for the one vehicle??? (fleet policy) |

CC 10 vehicles is a decent size fleet policy & the insurance company will want to keep your business, so they will try to make it as least painful as possible for you. I should ask your broker immediately & be prepared to go to another broker for quotes if the insurance company do sting you. And watch out for the very late renewal notice when your renewal is next due, giving you little or no time to shop around for a better deal. |

If the third party refuses to admit liability then it's down to a District Judge in the County Court to decide. Don't allow your insurance company to go knock for knock. That said I doubt your claims company will be happy with knock for knock because they wont get a bean in legal fees. This will end in the County Court, so don't worry. |
