Do any of you need 2 crb checks,Bucks county council require a crb over and above your local council crb that is required for your taxi badge any other county councils require this. The county council will not even accept your local council crb even if it is brand new forcing another £36.00 out of you is this beauracy gone mad from jobsworth council employees.

Same here mate, we need a crb for our taxi badge then one for the county council for the school contracts. Both mine are due at the same time and the county council will not accept the local one but the local council can be persuaded to accept the county one. But i can never seem to get the timing right and always have to pay for two.

Our Schools service always accepted our Taxi badge in place of a crb, this year there no longer accepting them, on the plus side the School transport are paying for this years.

if every school transport department/county council require a CRB (which will already have been done by the LA) its no wonder the CRB is so damn slow

can they be forced to reveal thier takings?

local volunteer groups also require badged drivers to take a new CRB to enrol them
