Are we in the EU or not. EU MEMBERSHIP allows for the free movement of goods and services and people within the EU block or does the EU rules not apply in Council Areas.

it does, and does apply, if a spaniard applies and passes the knowledge in London for instance they have to give him his license we are all equal us europeans why do you think it isnt? |

I am talking about the restictions imposed or the possible restrictions imposed when uplfting passengers in other LA area Cheers we are getting into very grey areas here arnt we? let me tell you something for definate, if you own a taxi, you can also get a license plate under terms given under that LA,for private hire on your taxi plated car and you can apply for a badge on thier terms then if you have a booking agent you can pick up in that LA, in your taxi as private hire. under case law there are some other circumstances you can. if you get pulled for picking up illeagaly can I reccomend you seek out Kearns and Co Solicitors of Swansea, they get taxidrivers out of the chit daily. or take advice off here taking great care, cos although they claim to be taxidrivers for all you know they could be bin men.
