Hi The plyin for hire threadgot me thinking about a job i picked up the other day and wether or not it would be classed as plying for hire. In short.... I had a booked fare from a restaurant to a house - when the pre booked job got in the cab he said can you take my friends to another destination after you have dropped us off - both couples got in and i dropped them off in turn. He was pre booked - they were not - unless him asking constitutes a bookiing ? Am i ok doing this ? |

how often does a destination change when a customer gets in your taxi? A change of mind, a fall-out at the pick-up, a phone-call on route, all above happen and more. So what else can you do but go where you're directed? Is it carved in stone a PHV must go where it's initial destination states? |

Customers often change their minds as to where they are going. |
