| Post subject: | Operators License Increase |
Just had our operaters license renewal in 154.00 this year another increase it goes up every year along with vehicle licenses and drivers licenses, does the council have to give notice in the local paper of any increases like they do with a fare increase or can they just decide a new figure when they feel like it.

Councils have to advertise vehicle and operator license increases, but not drivers. Section 70 of the 1976 Act describes what a council should do.

Thanks Sussex I shall now check whether the council have issued a notice in the local paper, I have not seen it If they havent what course of redress do you suggest |
