I think i know the answer but I Will ask it.

A lad got arrested the other night at one of the twon center ranks. He layed out an idiot that ran over his E7. Yes thats right an E blinking 7 :shock:

the bloke was flat out and blood evereywhere and the driver spent 15 hours in the nick.

My question is that he could lose his license. but if he trys to sells his plate, even though he got it for nothing a year ago, would the council be able to stop it before any conviction? :roll:

P.S I dont like him.

The answer to that is no they can't stop him. If he wishes to retain the license and he thinks there may be severe repercussions he might wish to transfer his license to his wife or relative until such time the issue is resolved.

ive just had a word with some of the lads that saw it.
the driver went mad and lost the plaot.
kicked the dancing lad in the head when he was spark out. :sad:

Problem for the driver is a couple of door men saw it all.
Could be in very big trouble. :sad:

There is nothing in law as far as I know to stop him transfering his proprietors licence even if that was suspended. (3) Any proprietor aggrieved by a decision of a district council under this section may appeal to a magistrates' court. The main point that would come into play was the referrence to any other reasonable cause. However, here is the salient point. You are fully aware of the Wirral case where the complainants tried to plead relief under the Human rights act, well they didn't have a case because their license wasn' t being affected in any way but in this case the scenario could well be different. I'm not saying it would but it could be a possibility. Regards JD

Thnaks for that. I think the geezer is right in it. And although i dont like him im glad he is not in my shoes. Or should that be in his or whatever? The idiot (not the driver) run up his e7 bonnet jumped on the roof and started dancing. By all accounts done about a grands worth of damage. So what would you do? He gfot out of his car and tried to stop him running away. so the idiot started to put his fists up. The driver then punched him twice. the second knocking him out. he falls and bashes he head on the road. 10 hours it took for him to come round. the driver spent 15 hours in the police station charged with GBH. when the other bloke came round it was reduced to ABH. So what would you do?
