Ref Law Commission

Few of the proposals would affect the iconic London “black cab”. But outside the capital, taxi numbers could no longer be restricted by local authorities and private hire operators would be able to take bookings outside their own local area.

Thought I already could......

Well yes and no...you can take bookings that Originate directly from a client from outwith your Local area and Due to Mobile Phones and the Internet etc you can take bookings whilst your physically outwith your own Local area..but technically you can't take bookings outwith your Local Area through an Office in an Other Area as that's a Third Party office in some other place.

Seeeeeeeeemples..or is It?

Free market's just help and enhance the man with the largest wallet to take everything from all other's, it's a simple lesson in poker, if you haven't got enough to cover the pot each time you lose no matter how good a hand you have.

You have a low opinion of other drivers, I suspect a similar opinion of many in authority  All drivers do not need to take the bull by the horns, so to speak, it only takes a few to lead

CO-OP's (TOA?) start out fine, they grow, the core members change, then slowly it evolves into nothing more than another base/circuit
