Does anyone know the answer?

I had a PH badge for Rossendale which was issued approx 2007, I was told at the time that I did not have to take a DSA test :D as I held a PCV D+E licence. After a few years back driving pcv one of my family runs HC and needs a pt driver :) . Rossendale now say I would have to take a DSA test  #-o . Is there any case or guidance on this on this :?: .

BTW this is to drive a Rossendale HC based in Rossendale not a flag of convenience.

I suspect they have changed their rules in the meantime.

My guidance is that you do the test if you want to work there.

Tulsablue, if you still have D+E have you done your driver CPC yet? If not, you won't be able to drive PSVs after September!

My wife is doing her driver CPC training this week. So far she had done 7 hours on tachographs, 7 hours on customer service and today it is 7 hours on maintenance and daily checks.
Tomorrow it is 7 hours on driving to save fuel or something like that and because of the availability of the training she is going back next Tuesday to do the fuel saving again. That will give her the 35 hours required.
Many of the people on the customer service day were people who drive their own horse box with their own horse in it so that is a complete waste of a day for them.
The whole thing is a complete waste of time.

Yes all done, 1 of the courses was a day with a Smiths Driver Trainer which was excellent, the other four were sadly not very good.
