hey guys, just wondering, seen a post on here about 3 girls leaving without paying and seen the CCTV images, so I've had a search around the forum and can't find if it's been answered, so can you put a CCTV system in your cab as long as you have stickers to say your "recording" ? |

In most areas yes it all depends on how dum your council is, call them and ask if they say no ask why not when 90% of the uks taxis have them |

Yes you can, I've got one. As long as you get a licence from the Data Commissioner's office you're good to go. |

Yes, but I think that question should also be directed to your licensing department as they might have a CCTV criteria that you must meet. |

It's for their own safety..they might fall out the vehicle out in their bid to run off without paying and then You'd have the Injury lawyers after you as well. |

Auto locks usually stop people from outside getting in. Some cars do have the facility to have the doors locked from the inside whilst the foot brake is in use. |

excellent, thanks for the heads up on it, I can see it can take a 32 gig memory card and will auto record when you start the car etc. I'll have a look through the finer detail but good to know if it's been recommended. Thanks a lot.
