Taxi Driver Online :: View topic - Any thoughts/ideas?

We have a licensing officer who does not reply to letters/emails/telephone calls unless pressured i.e in my case I went over her head to her boss. Others have, and are, experiencing the same problem.

My thoughts are to write to the Licensing Committee pointing out the need for dialog, pointing out the rudeness of this employee who seems to have gotten up her own backside.

Thoughts anyone....pleeze

With emails, I just kept CCing the head of function and the chief exec. They soon sort it.

It took 3 months to get a reply on engine cc size once, by which time id had to buy a 2ltr car cos the "1600cc" engine limit and the 1598cc car id looked at were at odds...

Thoughts anyone....pleeze Send every question or query to the council's Freedom of Information Officer, starting each question/query 'Under the Freedom of Information Act can .........................'. If they don't reply with 20 working days, the law is being breached.
