They are supposed to check it thoroughly at the start before sending it off.

How in the hell can they miss something.

Black pen.
All dates of addresses can not have any time difference between them. e,g 19 summat street from 03/2014- 09/2014. Next address 21 Fawn avenue from 11/2014 - present.

Last 2 digits of the Driving licence need to be added also.

Other than that I got no clue what could of been done wrong.

Third time lucky though.

I have a 25 mile round trip every time i go to the LA, once last week (DBS) once this week (PH plate forms) and again Monday for test

Whats most galling is they have a dedicated (in the loosest possible terms) "DBS officer" who must be sleep on the job, how hard can it be to keep track of applications?

If I was applying for a 1st badge id have given up by now, as you say THEY are supposed to check the forms

A chap here had his form sent back because there was a 3 day break in his addresses. He had moved out of one house and didn't have the keys for his new house so he slept in the car for 3 days. what address should he have given?

answers to a FOI request to my LA

At one stage the term "DBS" had to be explained

Quote:
2. How many DBS checks do you carry out each year, broken down by
type eg. Standard, Basic or Enhanced?

approximately 80-100 all enhanced checks

3. Are you a registered body at the DBS that umbrellas other
organisations? NO

4. Are you currently doing your DBS checks online and if so, what
system do you use? NO

5. Have you a contract currently with a DBS eBulk provider and if
so when does the contract come to an end? NO
