After trying to give me a ticket and telling me it's illegal I put him straight and told him that he was breaking the law because he was parked on a pedestrian crossing.

I told him to give me a ticket and I'll make him look a fool in court..... he said "the conversation ends here," he got into his car and drove off.

Never worn them mate, I hate them with a passion. I know it's law but there's something about them I don't like.

Could it be that you perceive that the belt, if used , has some sort of control over you?

LOL...

I was under the impression that I was only allowed to not wear my belt when there was a punter in the car.

So a I wrong?

Also what is the crack with parking to pick someone up. Am I allowed to park on double yellows while waiting for the job?

Ah, OK.

So while I am private hire. I may as well just always wear my belt. Cos if there is no punter in the car, I can get points.

Coppers don't know the seatbelt law. When he said I've got to wear one while I haven't got a passenger on board I said, I think you've got me mixed up with a private hire.
