I applied for mine on Fri 28th Nov & it was approved on Mon 1st Dec 14.

In the post 15th Dec, I wasn't checking online etc as I wasn't waiting for it as I still had my vrq & knowledge to do.

Then i take the update option

Then I ask the LA if they intend charging me every year for a full new DBS

or if my badge will cost less

It arrived today


I asked the LA who needs to see it, and that i wont ever need another as i have the update option


might take 6 months for them to reply
